I was in high school when I decided to buy my first camera. I remember it vividly... mostly because I got it secondhand on Facebook Marketplace and drove an hour to pick it up in a McDonald’s parking lot. Ever since that moment, I have absolutely fallen in love with photography and have worked very hard over the years to improve my skills. It had always just been a hobby until my junior year of college when one of my friends offered to pay me to take her grad pics—and the rest was history.
I'm a born and raised Minnesota girl! I grew up in a small town called New London and graduated with about 90 people (it's so wild to me that some people graduate without knowing everyone in their class).
I was also lucky enough to live directly between BOTH sets of grandparents growing up!

Ever since I was little, I was always told I had “an eye”. Growing up, I have translated that talent into my photography and my constant pursuit to capture the human experience. I view photography as a way to freeze a moment of time—a way to not only make memories, but remember them. That’s why I always strive to make sure your experience working with me is fun, natural, and true to who you are because the experience you have in front of the camera is what ultimately translates to the finished product. I know that real, authentic moments are the ones people truly value—that’s why I do what I do.
